Since beginning my entrepreneurial journey in 2009, after a sudden layoff from a publishing job, I hustled my way to financial survival with writing and design skills. In 2011, I serendipitously found an opportunity to train as a graphic recorder and it just clicked. I launched Kingman Ink in 2013 and it’s taken me all over the globe.
Now I know that learning to market and sell yourself is a journey of self-discovery and even healing. On the cusp of Kingman Ink’s eight-year anniversary next month, I’d like to empower fellow practitioners with the hard-won wisdom of this journey. how the Scribe CEO Intensive works:
Intake: You’ll be prompted to complete an intake form to give me some basic information about you and your business, as well as your preferred days to meet.
Prework: My assistant will contact you to schedule your Intensive day, and give you a code for access to a full CliftonStrengths (formerly Strengthsfinder) assessment, to be completed before we meet, as well as any follow up questions based on your intake form.
The Day of the Intensive: We’ll meet on Zoom and use Mural and Google Docs to capture our conversation and deliverables. The day’s agenda will be tailored to your specific needs, but will generally include the following areas:
Opening: Grounding, centering and intentions
Marketing and visibility: Client and offer types; Positioning and brand; Content, channels and cadence.
Sales: Your offers and pricing; Generating and qualifying leads; Sales conversations and CRM
Delivery & Operations: Working in your strengths; Business models; Support and team.
Closing: Wrap up any open loops, schedule a 30-day check in call
Post-Intensive: We’ll schedule a follow up call around 30 days after our Intensive to make any tune ups or adjustments to the plan and address anything that has come up.

Once I confirm we’re a good fit, I will send you an electronic invoice for your session.
